WOMEN’S ROWING
Sarah Cowburn (Worcester, England),Kristine O’Brien (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) Susanne Grainger (London, Ontario), and coxswain Sarah Jordan (Flourtown, Pa.) were named to the All-South Region First Team, and Fiona Schlesinger (Surrey, United Kingdom) was selected to the second team. This is Cowburn’s second straight honor and Grainger, Jordan and Schlesinger’s first. O’Brien is a two-time CRCA First Team All-American.
The Cavaliers team won their fourth straight ACC rowing title and 13th in 14 years. UVa will play in the 2013 NCAA Championships May 31-June 2 in Indianapolis, Ind. Virginia won the team national title in 2012.
