HOME GAMES (8) – Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech.
AWAY GAMES (8) – Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
The 2013-14 Virginia squad will be highlighted by Ataira Franklin, an All-ACC first team member last season and 2012 ACC All-Defensive team member Lexie Gerson. They also pulled in recruits Amanda Fioravanti (Maryland) and Breyana Mason (Virginia).
MEN’S GOLF
Virginia golfer Denny McCarthy moved up 36 places in the standings yesterday McCarthy shot 3-under and has a total ranking of 30th.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Virginia golfer Brittany Altomare (Shrewsbury, Mass.) has been named a first-team All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.
