  • TALK OF THE TOWN 12/16:ROMO BEING ROMO: COWBOYS BLOW HUGE LEAD LATE, FALL TO PACKERS

    Packers 6-6-1 at Cowboys 7-6

At one point the cowboys were up 26-3 but they let that slip away from them! 29-24 Cowboys now but Tony Romo won’t let the lead slip away that easy right? RIGHT! Tony Romo throws to the  endzone and finds Dez Bryant who makes a catch over a defender and that puts the Cowboys up 12. 36-31 Cowboys now but the Packers hand it off to Eddie Lacy who runs it in for the TD, 2-point conversion attempt failed so the Pack are up 1! But can Tony Romo engineer a game winning drive? The answer: NO Romo is picked off by Tramon Williams and the Packers keep their playoff hopes alive with a 37-36 win.

KEY PLAYER (PACKERS): Matt Flynn: 26-39, 299 Yds, 4 TD, Int <–PLAYER OF THE GAME
KEY PLAYER (COWBOYS): Tony Romo: 29-48, 358 Yds, 2 TD, 2 Int

  • TALK OF THE TOWN 12/15:NO SUPRISES HERE!!!Mack Brown steps down!

Mack Brown has stepped down as the Texas Head Coach yesterday, well I know from sources that he was forced too. This wasn’t a suprise AT ALL! Everyone knew that this was going to happen but  think Brown is 10th in all-time wins, he won a natty title, he had 4 BIG 12 South titles and 2 BIG 12 Titles! But in the past 4 years he went 30-20 which is not even close to Texas standards. And there are much better options! Here are a few coaches the Longhorns might hire:

    STRONG CANADITES

    James Franklin, Vanderbilt
    Art Briles, Baylor
    Jimb Fisher, FSU

    OTHER STRONG POSSIBILITIES

    Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State
    Jim Mora, UCLA
    David Shaw, Stanford
