4 Oregon vs 5 Kansas State

my pick: Ducks but not by much

before you read this recap you have to watch this Tostitos Fiesta Bowl commercial

    http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/01/modern-family-stars-ty-burrell-and-eric-stonestreet-fight-over-the-fiesta-bowl.html

There were questions surrounding weather or not the ducks would be distracted because of Chip Kelly’s rumors to go to the NFL. well opening kickoff Deanthony Thomas returns it from the 6 and he could go all the way! Touchdown Quackattack! Suprisingly enough they go for 2 and hand it off to Dion Jordan and they get it 8-zip Ducks! 11 minutes later ducks driving and Marcus Mariota finds Thomas on the Screen and Thomas scores! 15-0 ducks. Kansas State trying to put some thing together and it off to DeAngelo Pete Pete goes Right nothing there reverses left and picks up 14 yards!  Collin Klein 3rd place in the Heisman on 3rd and Goal runs it in! Cuts the ducks lead to 8.A minute to goo in the half 15-10 Ducks Mariota to Colt Lyerla pick up of 23 . 20 seconds now and Mariota finds Kenjon Barner for the TD. 22-10 at the break. #rd Quarter Mariota scrambles… TD ducks1 31-10 now here is where it gets interesting I looked this up a couple months ago just out of curiosity and it happened. Oregon kicking the extra point Kansas State blocks it recovers it on the 2 flips it back and they get tackled in the endzone if you take out the extra point part that would be a saftey right? and a saftey is 2 points right? but when you add in the extra point part it becomes a extremely rare 1 point saftey resulting in a point for oregon. 32-10 Ducks. Ducks go on to win 35-17.

  • Sugar Bowl Recap

     3 Florida vs 21 Louisville

my pick: UF by a lot

according to NCAA.com Florida had the toughest schedule in the nation whereas Louisville? The 9th weakest. Now you tell me who didn’t belong in the Allstate Sugar Bowl. 1st play from scrimmage Jeff Driskel… picked off by Terell Floyd who is going to return it all the way 7-0 Cardinal. So Louisville ball now same score Teddy Bridgewater throws deep incomplete but he gets hammered on the play by John Bostic, Bostic gets flagged for roughing the passer. 4 plays later Bridgewater back in and teddy finds B.J. Butler Butler is going to score! dives for the endzone. play is reviewed they mark him down at the one. Next play Jeremy Wright is going to run it in 14-zip  cardinal. 17-3 now late 2nd and Bridgewater… to DeVante Parker Parker barely manages to get a foot in bounds 24-3 Louisville things not looking to hot for Will Muschamp and the Gators. 10 seconds left in the half Gators on the 1 and they hand it off to Matt Jones TOUCHDOWN GATORS! 24-10 Cardinal at the break. Gators kick off to start the 2nd Half and it’s a onside kick (which belive it or not I called) Louisville recovers but it gets worse for Florida. 2 15 yard penalty’s on Florida Chris Jhonson on Florida threw a punch he is ejected. next play Bridgewater  goes up top to Damian Copeland who comes down with it ! the extra point was blocked so it is 30-10. 4th quarter now 33-10 now and Andre Debose returns the kick 100 yards to the house and Florida is now down 33-17.2 and a half to play same score and Driskel to Kent Taylor but they need the 2 point conversion to cut the lead to 1 possesion. Driskel is sacked! and that does it Louisvile pulls a stunner 33-23 upset

  • ROSE AND ORANGE BOWL RECAPS

    6 STANFORD VS WISCONSIN

my pick: Stanford but closer than expected

early first for Stanford double reverse and they throw  throws it deep to Rashard Patterson who makes the amazing catch! Next play Kelsey Young runs it in for Stanford 7-zip Cardinal. Then Kevin Hogan finds Zach Ertz downfield! 43 yard pickup on the Stanford 1st down. Stanford would punch it in the next play.2nd quarter 4th and goal on the 1 for Wisconsin and James White… STUFFED! 3 minutes later Wisconsin driving and Montee Ball takes it in to cut Stanford’s lead to 7. 20 seconds to go in the half 17-7 Stanford. Wisconsin driving and Curt Phillips  finds  Jordan Fredrick TOUCHDOWN WISCONSIN!! 17-14 cardinal at the break. 20-14 Stanford 2 minutes left Wisconsin trying to get something going… But Kurt Philips is picked off! Stanford wins.

12 FLORIDA STATE VS 15 NORTHERN ILLINOIS

my pick: FSU but much closer then expected

let’s start scoreless when Lonnie Pryor takes it 60 yards to the house for FSU. 7-0 ‘noles. 7-3 FSU now NIU very much in the game with 10 ticks until the half until E.J. Manuel finds Rashard Greene to make it 14-3 at the break. 17-3 FSU now Jordan Lynch finds Montell Morre in the endzone and the huskies are back in buisness! same score 1st play of the 4th and E.J. Manuel caling his own number. 24-10 FSU. 5 minutes later Pryor for FSU running it in. FSU rolls 31-10.

    Clemson vs LSU

Less than 30 seconds in Barkevious Mingo with the monster hit Sammy Watkins fumbles and LSU off to a great start. Then LSU pitches it to  Jerememy Hill who will go for the 17 yard score. 14-7 LSU now 5 minutes in the 2nd left and Tajh Boyd finds DeAndre Hopkins in the endzone the extra-point is blocked 14-13 LSU. Then Jeremy Hill don’t let this guy loose he had 124 yards and 2 TD’s on the day they hand it off do him and he goes 57 yards for the TD. 21-13 LSU.4th quarter 24-16 LSU. Clemson Ball. Tajh Boyd passes it to Adam Humphries, Humphries pitches it back to Ellington who is going to take it 19 yards for the first down.2 minutes left and Boyd finds Hopkins over the middle!!! Touchdown Clemson!!! 24-22 Clemson going for the 2-point conversion… NO. 24-22. Then strange play-calling by LSU does not force Clemson to use any of their time-outs so after incompletions on 2nd&2 and 3rd&2 Clemson gets the ball back with 100 seconds and 3 timeouts. 4th and 16  for Clemson and Boyd to Hopkins who makes a sliding catch and… they got IT! 2 plays later Boyd finds Hopkins who gets out of bounds. So it’s Chandler Catanzaro with a 37 yarder to win and he split’s it!!! Clemson wins 25-24.
