Red Sox at Dodgers

Let’s start, Top 4th, 2 outs, Red Sox batting and Xander Bogaerts doubles to center, that scores a run and the Sox are up 3-0. 3-1 now, Top 6th and Jarrod Saltalamacchia blasts a 2-run shot to left and Boston is up 5-1. Bottom 9th, 2 outs, 8-1 and Jake Peavy strikes out Hanley Ramirez that would end the game.

The Red Sox had 8 runs on 12 hits and no errors, they improve to 77-55. Some key Players for the Sox were Mike Napoliwho went 2-4  with a HR (his 16th of the year), and 3 RBI’s and Jake Peavy who got they win to improve to 10-5 on the year pitching he pitched the complete game, let up 3 hits, walked one, and struck out 5. The Dodgers scored 1 run on 3 hits and fall to 76-54 on the year.

Dodgers at Marlins

On June 22nd, The Dodgers were 30-42, last place in the NL West, 12 games below .500 and 9 and a half games out of 1st place in the Nl West. When the Dodgers woke up yesterday they were 72-50, 1st in the NL West, 22 games above .500 and 8 and a half games ahead of the next team in the NL West standings. The Dodgers were facing the Marlins yesterday. Let’s start, Bottom 6th,  4-3 Dodgers and Jeff Mathis singles to left, that drives in a run and the Marlins have tied the game at 4. Then the Manager of the Dodgers puts Yasiel Puig in the game and in the top 8th he is gonna hit a bomb to left center, that puts the Dodgers up 5-4.

YANKEES AT RED SOX

Let’s start Top 2nd, A-Rod up and the first pitch is thrown behind A-rod. 2nd pitch now and it’s inside again! 2-0 pitch and it is inside again, Next pitch now and Red Sox pitcher finally Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster hits A-Rod with the pitch, after 3 inside pitches it was obviously intentional Yankees Manager Joe Girardi comes out and argues about that, Girardi gets the early shower. Girardi said later “he should have thrown him out of the game, its the bottom line, everyone knows it was intentional”. I agree with Girardi even with all the things going on around A-Rod that just isn’t right, you just don’t do that. Let Bud Selig decide what’s going to happen, just play the game! Alex Rodriguez would get his payback. Top 6th, 6-3 Red Sox and Alex Rodriguez goes deep to dead center and the New York Yankees have cut the lead to 2. Still top 6th, same score, bases loaded and Brett Gardner hits a triple to deep right center and that clears the bases the Yankees go up 7-6! 9-6 would be your final. After the game A-Rod said “weather you like me or hate me that was unprofessional and that was just wrong and silly”. When Red Sox pitcher Ryan Dempster was asked if he hit A-Rod he shrugged it off and said “nah I was just trying to pitch it inside”. Joe Girardi said “at some point Brian O’Nora (the umpire) has gotta give him (Dempster) a warning and he should have thrown him out of the game, it’s the bottom line. Everyone knows it was intentional, And I don’t understand why he’s left in the game, and then they give us a warning? That’s just wrong and the one thing that you can’t do is you can’t start changing the system because maybe you don’t like it. Ryan Dempster has been player rep, he’s very involved in the union (MLBPA) and these guys, this is what they decided to do. So you can’t change it, just take your potshots and you’d have to have your head in the sand, with the comments that came from the other side not to know that something might be up. Weather or not I agree with everything that’s going on you do not throw at people,you don’t take the law into your own hands. You don’t do that, what is wrong with people. You cheer when someone gets hit? You know i’m gonna say it again, what if that was your son, what if your son got hit, breaks an arm, gets hit in the head, has a concussion. Man, i’d be embarresed. And I see little kids in the stands. I wonder what’s wrong with our world today?”. I agree with what he said, if you hit someone on pourpose or cheer when someone gets hit that is just wrong.
