A: That is probably True. With the conference’s top four teams (Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin) already with a loss it looks pretty hopeless.  What do you guys think answer in the comments below!

You guys in the comments basically agreed with me. There was no way the Big Ten would get a spot in the playoff, let alone win the first ever title. Now back to the present, Ezekiel Elliot had 4 touchdowns Cordale Jones threw for 242 yards and the Big Ten, yes the Big Ten knocked off Oregon and Alabama by double digits, the two teams that have been the ‘cream of the crop’ for so long to win the inaugural college football playoff national championship. This was fun, perhaps the best season ever, and the best part is (sorry, TCU fans) they got the right top 4. Alabama and Oregon looked unstoppable during the regular season, Florida State was undefeated and let’s be honest who would you take on a neutral field? Ohio State or TCU. Exactly.

Despite being the number two team in the nation, and favored by a touchdown to defeat the Seminoles of Florida State, Oregon felt like they had something to prove, that they were not a “soft” team. FSU, the only undefeated team in the whole country trailed at the half 6 times this season, but when the the second frame came they always semmed to find a way to shrink the gap. In The Rose Bowl it just got bigger. “It’s incredible. I’m so proud of these guys right here,” Mariota said. “We’ve got one more to take care of.” After a 52-20 win over FSU it’s onto to the first ever College Football Playoff championship game. for the Ducks.

Cardale Jones threw for 243 yards, Ezekiel Elliot added 230 on the ground and the Ohio State Buckeyes came back from down twenty-one to six to defeat the number one ranked Alabama Crimson Tide 42-35. “We’re good enough, We’re capable of playing with any team in the country,”Head Coach Urban Meyer said of defeating the Oregon Ducks in the title game. Urban Meyer is 36-3 since taking over at the helm for the buckeyes. “Maybe the Big Ten is not that bad,” said Meyer, “Maybe it’s pretty damn good.”
