    GIANTS WIN WORLD SERIES

When Madison Bumgarner entered the game with a 3-2 lead, you might as well have turned off the TV and went to bed. “I wasn’t thinking about innings or pitch count. I was just thinking about getting outs, getting outs, until I couldn’t get them anymore and we needed someone else,” Bumgarner said. With a man on third for the Royals in the bottom of the 9th, Kansas City couldn’t get the runner across, and the Giants won the World Series for the third time in five years. Dynasty Anyone?  “When it got by him, I had a smile on my face. I thought maybe I could score, but he got to it quickly enough,” Gordon said of his last gasp hit. “I just put my head down and ran, almost fell around second base, was just waiting for (third-base coach Mike Jirschele) to give me the signal. It was a good hold. He had the ball in plenty of time.”From there, the Giants hoped for the best. “We just need one more out. We got this. Let’s do it,” Blanco he said he thought to himself.

ROYALS CRUSH GIANTS IN GAME 6, FORCE GAME 7

Wow. The Kansas City Royals, a team down to their last gasp, fighting for their lives down 3-2 in the series and they put on a performance like that. The Royals demolished San Francisco 10-0. “This is what we all prepared for. This is why we play the game,” Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer said. So the question is. Will Bumgarner pitch in Game 7? “This guy is human. I mean, you can’t push him that much,” Bochy said. “He’ll be available if we need him, but to start him, I think that’s asking a lot.” So what’s your prediction for Game 7? “I had a very, very strong feeling that whoever won Game 6 was going to win Game 7,” Royals manager Ned Yost said. “We have to wait until tomorrow to see if my theory’s correct.”
