First Round

• The San Francisco 49ers traded the No. 15 pick to the San Diego Chargers for the No. 17 pick, a 2015 fourth-round pick and a 2016 fifth-round pick. The Chargers then used the No. 15 pick to select running back Melvin Gordon. The Chargers took Oregon defensive tackle Arik Armstead with the No. 17 pick and Oklahoma tight end Blake Bell with the fourth-rounder, No. 117.

• The Detroit Lions traded the No. 23 pick to the Denver Broncos for the No. 28 pick, OL Manny Ramirez, a fifth-round pick in 2015 and a fifth-round pick in 2016. The Broncos then used the No. 23 pick to draft defensive end Shane Ray. Detroit took Duke guard Laken Tomlinson with the No. 28 pick and traded the fifth rounder, No. 143, to the Vikings.

Second Round

• The New York Giants traded up to acquire the No. 33 pick from the Tennessee Titans. The Giants offered their second-round (No. 40), fourth-round (No. 108) and seventh-round (No. 245) picks to trade up to the first pick in the second round and select Alabama safety Landon Collins. The Titans selected former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham with the No. 40 pick and Alabama fullback Jalson Fowler with the No. 108.

• The Carolina Panthers traded up to acquire the No. 41 pick from the St. Louis Rams. The Panthers sent their second-round (No. 57), third-round (No. 89) and sixth-round (No. 201) picks to the Rams. Carolina selected Michigan wide receiver Devin Funchess with the No. 41 pick. With the No. 57 pick, the Rams selected Wisconsin offensive tackle Rob Havenstein. They took Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion with the No. 89 and Missouri receiver Bud Sasser at No. 201.

• The Houston Texans traded up to acquire the No. 43 pick from the Cleveland Browns. The Texans sent their second-round (No. 51), fourth-round (No. 116) and sixth-round (No. 195) picks to the Browns, who traded the No. 43 second-round pick and No. 229 seventh-round pick. The Texans selected Mississippi State linebacker Benardrick McKinney with the No. 43 pick. With the No. 51 pick, the Browns selected Utah outside linebacker Nate Orchard. The Texans sent the No. 229 pick to the Jets.

• The Philadelphia Eagles traded up to acquire the No. 47 pick from the Miami Dolphins. The Eagles sent their second-round (No. 52) and two fifth-round picks (Nos. 145, 156) to acquire the Dolphins’ No. 47 pick and sixth-round pick (No. 191). The Eagles selected Utah cornerback/safety Eric Rowe with the No. 47 pick, and Kansas cornerback JaCorey Shepherd at No. 191. With the No. 52 pick, the Dolphins selected Oklahoma defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. They took Memphis cornerback Bobby McCain with the No. 145 and Michigan State receiver Tony Lippett with the No. 156.

• The Baltimore Ravens traded up to acquire the No. 55 pick from the Arizona Cardinals. The Ravens sent their second-round (No. 58) and fifth-round (No. 158) picks to the Cardinals. Baltimore selected Minnesota tight end Maxx Williams with the No. 55 pick. With the No. 58 pick, the Cardinals selected Missouri defensive end Markus Golden. With the No. 158, they took West Virginia defensive end Shaquille Riddick.

• The Buccaneers traded up to acquire the No. 61 pick from the Indianapolis Colts. The Buccaneers sent their third-round (No. 65) and fourth-round (No. 109) picks to the Colts, who also sent their fourth-round (No. 128) pick in return. With the No. 61 pick, the Buccaneers selected Hobart College offensive lineman Ali Marpet. With the No. 65 pick, the Colts selected Florida Atlantic cornerback D’Joun Smith. With the No. 109, they took UCF safety Clayton Geathers.

Third Round

• The Seattle Seahawks traded up to acquire the No. 69 pick from the Washington Redskins. The Seahawks sent their third-round (No. 95), fourth-round (No. 112), fifth-round (No. 167) and sixth-round (No. 181) picks to the Redskins. With the No. 69 pick, the Seahawks selected Kansas State wide receiver Tyler Lockett. With the No. 95 pick, the Redskins took Florida running back Matt Jones, with the No. 112 pick they took Alabama guard Arie Kouandijo. They dealt the No. 167 pick to the Saints and took Virginia Tech safety Kyshoen Jarrett at No. 181.

• The Texans traded up to acquire the No. 70 pick from the New York Jets. Houston sent wide receiver DeVier Posey, its third-round (No. 82), fifth-round (No. 152) and seventh-round (No. 229) picks to New York. With the No. 70 pick, the Texans selected Arizona State wide receiver Jaelen Strong. With the No. 82 pick, the Jets selected Louisville outside linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin. With the No. 154 pick, they took Texas A&M guard Jarvis Harrison.

• The Kansas City Chiefs traded up to acquire the No. 76 pick from the Minnesota Vikings. The Chiefs sent their third-round (No. 80) and sixth-round (No. 193) picks to the Vikings. With the No. 76 pick, the Chiefs selected Georgia wide receiver Chris Conley. The Vikings dealt the No 80 pick to Detroit, and took Louisville defensive end B.J. DuBose at No. 193.

• The Lions traded up to acquire the No. 80 pick from the Vikings. Detroit sent its third-round (No. 88) and fifth-round (No. 143) picks to Minnesota. With the No. 80 pick, the Lions selected Stanford cornerback Alex Carter. With the No. 88 pick, the Vikings selected LSU defensive end Danielle Hunter. Wtih the No. 143 pick, they took tight end MyCole Pruitt out of Southern Illinois.

• The Browns traded up to acquire the No. 96 pick from the New England Patriots. Cleveland sent its fourth-round (No. 111), fifth-round (No. 147) and sixth-round picks (No. 202) to New England, which exchanged the No. 96 pick and its seventh-round (No. 219) pick. With the No. 96 pick, the Browns selected Washington State defensive lineman Xavier Cooper. With the No. 111 pick, New England took Florida State guard Tre Jackson. The Patriots later dealt the No. 147 pick to Green Bay, and used the No. 202 pick on Arkansas tight end A.J. Derby.

Fourth Round

• The Panthers traded with the Raiders to move up to pick No. 102 and select Oklahoma guard Daryl Williams. The Raiders received New England’s fourth-round pick (No. 124), which they later dealt to Tampa Bay, fifth-round pick (No. 161), used to select Florida linebacker Neiron Ball, and seventh-round (No. 242) pick.

• The Jets and Jaguars traded picks at Nos. 103 and 104, with New York moving up to draft Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty and Jacksonville taking Louisville safety James Sample at No. 104. Jacksonville also received New York’s seventh-rounder (No. 229).

• The Lions moved into the Eagles’ slot at No. 113 to draft Auburn defensive tackle Gabe Wright. Philadelphia received Detroit’s 2016 third-rounder.

• The Cardinals moved up to take defensive tackle Rodney Gunter at No. 116 out of Delaware State in a deal with the Browns. Cleveland received Arizona’s fourth-round pick (No. 123), sixth-round pick (No. 198) and seventh-round pick (No. 241). The Browns took Washington State receiver Vince Mayle with No. 123 and USC tight end Randall Telfer at No. 198.

• The Buccaneers moved up to acquire the No. 124 pick from the Raiders, via Carolina. Tampa Bay took LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander, sending its fourth-round pick (No. 128) and seventh-rounder (No. 218) to Oakland. Oakland used the No. 128 pick to select Miami guard Jon Feliciano.

Fifth Round

• The Falcons moved up to acquire the first pick of the round, No. 137, from the Vikings. Atlanta selected defensive tackle Grady Jerrett out of Clemson, sending its fifth-rounder (No. 146) and sixth rounder (No. 185) to Minnesota. Minnesota used the No. 146 pick to select receiver Stefon Diggs of Maryland, and the No. 185 pick on Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyrus Thompson.

• The Packers traded with the Patriots to acquire pick No. 147, and used it to select UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley. New England received Green Bay’s fifth rounder (No. 166), which it used to select Navy long-snapper Joe Cardona, and a seventh-rounder (No. 247).

• The Colts swapped fifth-round picks with the 49ers to move up and take Stanford defensive tackle David Parry at No. 151. San Francisco received Indianapolis’ fifth-rounder (No. 151), used to select Clemson punter Bradley Pinion, and seventh-rounder (No. 244).

• The Saints traded with the Redskins to acquire the No. 167 pick and select Georgia cornerback Damian Swann. Washington receives New Orleans’ sixth-rounder (No. 187) and a 2016 sixth-rounder. Washington took Ohio State receiver Evan Spencer with the No. 187 pick.

Seventh Round

• The Jets traded a seventh-round pick (No. 224) to the Rams for running back Zac Stacy, who had asked to be traded or released after St. Louis picked Todd Gurley in the first round.

2015 NFL draft trades:

• Teams unanimously voted that a certified medical trainer could call a “medical timeout” if a player on the field seems disoriented.  Neither team is actually charged with a timeout and the opposing team would have an opportunity to substitute for a better matchup once the player comes off the field
• A rule change was allowed that can allow a review to add more time on the clock at the end of the half, the game, or overtime. All other replay proposals were shot down or withdrawn
• The owners also decided to research the possibility of fixed cameras positioned on the sidelines, end lines and goal lines to guarantee coverage of the play no matter where broadcast cameras are stationed.

Here are some things I have heard from the 2015 NFL owners meeting

• Expanded Playoffs likely to be started in 2016-17 season as opposed to this year
• Greg Hardy and Adrian Peterson issues will also be discussed
• NFL expects more than 3 games in the 2016-17 season and is also discussing games in December, as well as the removal of automatic byes
• The Blackout Policy will be scraped during the 2015-16 NFL season and next year there will be talk about permanently removing it.
• There has been a tweak made to the definition of a catch after the Dez Bryant fiasco. “Receiver needs control of both feet & has to have it long enough to clearly establish himself as a runner. New language.” they stand by the incomplete pass ruling on that play before and after the rule change.
