Bottom 4th now and Tigers batter Austin Jackson would knock in Omar Infante with a single so the Tigers are cruising! Tigers pitching was great too, Detroit’s Pitchers had a total of 10 Strikeouts! Tigers would win 7-3.

Bottom of the 9th, man on 3rd for the Red Sox and Jarrod Saltalamacchia hits a  grounder between 2nd and 3rd base and that drives in a run and the Red Sox walk off to win 6-5!

Q: Who will win the world series?

A:You know really, I think whoever wins the Cardinals-Pirates series will go on to win the world series. Both teams have won 90+ wins and it should be an great series! The winner faces the Dodgers or the Braves and I expect those teams to be no challenge to St Louis or Pitt. The Tigers and Red Sox are overrated but the Rays and A’s are no challenge for the former two.

If there was a 2-team tie for the last spot the 2 teams playing in the tie would play head to head. If all three teams were tied then Cleveland would host Tampa Bay to determine one of the wild cards on Monday; the loser of that game would then play at Texas on Tuesday to determine the second wild card.
