Let’s skip ahead about 12 minutes, 20-19 Aztecs but Aaron Gordon, the 3…YES SIR! 2nd half now and GORDON WITH A ONE-HANDED TOMAHAWK SLAM off the alley-oop! WOW! What a dunk. Let’s skip ahead, tied at 50 with 6 minutes to play and Arizona’s TJ McConell’s shot from the corner bounces out no good but Gordon’s putback is good and Arizona takes the lead! Then Nick Johnson gets the lay-in for zona and that gives the Wildcats a 5 point lead.  Let’s go late 2nd half and Johnson from wayyyyy out…SWISH! Arizona goes on to win 70-64.

6 Baylor vs 2 Wisconsin

We will start 6-2 Wisconsin and Frank Kiminski goes up strong and puts in off the glass for the Badgers! 2nd half and Kaminski drains a layup! Then Kaminski spins around a defender and makes the bucket. Kaminski had 19 points on the day and Wisconsin went on to win 69-52.

CSD’S PICK: Arizona-Wisconsin. I’ll stay true to my bracket and pick Arizona. They’re just so talented, they have 6 or 7 guys that are great players.

MEMPHIS, TN REGION

4 UCLA vs 1 Florida

Let’s begin, Florida already up 4 and Michael Fraizer II knocks down a 3 for the Gators! But UCLA answers back, Tony Parker spins around a couple of defenders and scores! Then Dorian Finnley-Smith puts it in off the glass, that brings the Bruins within 1. But Scottie Wilbekin drains a 3 for the Gators to keep the Bruins out of striking distance. Florida up 8 now and Wilbekin drives and makes the lay-in to put the Gators up 10. Then Wilbekin makes a little baby hook! And Florida goes on to win by 11.

11 Dayton vs 10 Stanford

Let’s start 1st half and Dayton’s Kendall Pollard with the dunk! Then Devin Olivard knocks down the triple and that puts Dayton up 10. Then Jordan Sibert from he corner…YES!!!! Dayton shot 35 precent from 3.  Let’s go to the 2nd half and Sibert from dead on…GOOD! Then Matt Kavanaugh gets the bucket and the foul for Dayton! The Flyers march on to the Elite 8 for the first time in 30 years with a 82-72 win.

CSD’S PICK: Florida-Dayton. I think Dayton gets ahead early, social media goes abuzz but the senior leadership of the 2014 Florida Gators shows in a big, big way I think Florida comes back from behind to beat Dayton.
