Georgetown (13-12) – 12PM ET, FOX
The Pick: Georgetown
Kansas State (16-8) @ #13
West Virginia (19-5) – 12PM ET, ESPN
K-State suffered a tough home loss on Monday in a 74-71 defeat at the hands of in-state rival Kansas. The Wildcats will have a chance to avenge that loss against #13 West Virginia on Saturday. To do that they will need Kamau Stokes to go off like he has done at times throughout the year. On the other side, the Mountaineers have won four of their last five, and will come into this game trying to avenge a loss to Kansas State earlier this year. I see the Mountaineers and their high-powered offense edging out a scrappy Kansas State team that won’t be able to overcome West Virginia’s press defense.
The Pick: West Virginia

Baylor (21-3) – 2PM ET, ESPNU
The Pick: Baylor
#2Villanova (23-2) @ #24
Xavier (18-6) – 2:30PM ET, FOX
Should Gonzaga lose to St. Mary’s late on Sunday, the #1 overall ranking will be Villanova’s if they win this game. But they will have to go through the #24 ranked Musketeers on the road. Xavier has won four straight games, including a win over a very good Creighton team. However, the defending champion’s depth is second to none, and while this matchup would seem even, Xavier will be without PG Edmond Summer, which I think gives Villanova the edge to add a big resume boosting road win.
The Pick: Villanova
Texas (10-14) @
Oklahoma State (15-9) – 4PM ET, ESPN2

Ohio State (15-10) @ #21

Iowa State (14-9) – 6PM ET, ESPN2
The Pick: Iowa State
#14Florida State (21-4) @
Notre Dame (18-7) – 6PM ET, ESPN
In my opinion, the biggest game of the weekend is not Gonzaga-St. Mary’s, but this ACC clash. Notre Dame is reeling, having lost five straight games that were against top-25 opponents or on the road. This one will be at home, so it will give the Irish a chance to rebound, but it is certainly against a ranked team, in fact, Florida State moved up to the projected 1-seed in the ACC Tournament by KenPom on Thursday Night, and right now, they are definitely a sleeper team to get a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament as well. I see Notre Dame continuing to reel, as Dwayne Bacon carries FSU to a win.
The Pick: Florida State
#19South Carolina (19-5) @
Mississippi State (14-9) – 8PM ET, ESPN2
The Pick: South Carolina
#1Gonzaga (25-0) @ #20
Saint Mary’s (22-2) – 8:15PM ET, ESPN
Gonzaga takes a 27 game regular season winning streak into Moraga, California for a top 20 showdown against the only team standing in their way of a number one seed, the St. Mary’s Gaels. This will be by far the biggest game ever played in the McKeon Pavillion, as College Gameday will be on hand. The Gaels only two losses come against UT-Arlington, and of course, against this Gonzaga team on the road. The fans will be going crazy in Moraga, but there is a reason that Gonzaga won the first matchup between these two schools by 23, it’ll be closer, but Gonzaga will do it again.
The Pick: Gonzaga
California (18-6) @ #9
Arizona (22-3) – 10PM ET, ESPN2
The Pick: Arizona
#5Oregon (21-4) @
USC (21-4) – 10:30PM ET, Pac12 Network
The Pick: Oregon
Sunday 2/11
Michigan (15-9) @
Indiana (15-10) – 1PM ET, CBS
The Pick: Indiana
#11Cincinnati (22-2) @ #25
SMU (21-4) – 4PM ET, ESPN
A Top-25 battle in the AAC will take center stage as a prequel to the fantastic upcoming week in basketball. Cincinnati is riding a 15 game winning streak, and hasn’t lost since December 10th. A win here would essentially lock up the #1 seed in the AAC tournament for the Bearcats, as they already beat the Mustangs 66-64 in the first matchup between these two squads. If the Bearcats do fall though, SMU will move up to #1 in the conference with a win here, and the Mustangs are 14-0 at the Moody Coliseum, I don’t see them giving up their first home loss here.
The Pick: SMU
#12Virginia (18-5) @
Virginia Tech (16-7) – 6:30PM ET, ESPNU
The Pick: Virginia
Northwestern (18-6) @ 7
Wisconsin (21-3) – 6:30PM ET, BTN
The Pick: Wisconsin
