The Pick: Washington State

#16West Virginia (7-1) @ Texas (5-4) – 12PM ET, Fox Sports 1

Spread: Texas -1.5

This game is kind of flying under the radar, but I think this is one of the most interesting games of the weekend. West Virginia is a sleeper playoff team, they only have one loss, and control their own destiny in the hunt for the Big 12 title.  On the other side, Charlie Strong’s job could be saved with a win here. If that job will be saved, it will be on the back of D’Onta Foreman, who has been fantastic for Texas recently, rushing for nearly 600 yards in the past two games. However, West Virginia’s defense has been arguably the best in the Big 12 so far this year, and I think that, plus the play of quarterback Skyler Howard, will carry the Mountaineers to an upset victory.

The Pick: West Virginia 38, Texas 34

Baylor (6-2) @ #11Oklahoma (7-2) – 12PM ET, ABC/ESPN2

Spread: Oklahoma -17

Oh, how the wheels have came off for Baylor. After starting the season 6-0, including a win over Oklahoma State, the Bears have started to struggle. Two weeks ago Baylor lost a close game on the road against Texas, and last week… Ouch. The Bears got murdered in front of their home crowd by TCU, losing by 40 points. I think that will light a fire under Baylor, and Oklahoma’s top two running backs are out, leading to the Bears keep it close till halftime, but Oklahoma will pull away to win by double digits. The Baylor teams isn’t unified around the coaching staff, all of whom will be out after this year, and Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield is one of the best in the country.

The Pick: Oklahoma 45, Baylor 34

#9Auburn (7-2) @ Georgia (5-4) – 3:30PM ET, CBS

Spread: Auburn -10

This game matters a lot, despite the two losses, Auburn still controls it’s own destiny in the playoff race, both of their losses are to top 10 teams, and an SEC Champion with wins over Alabama, LSU, and the SEC East champion would surely get in. Georgia han’t looked great recently, from late September to the end of October, the Bulldogs went 1-4 against five unranked opponents. The Bulldogs might have started to turn it around last week with a win over Kentucky and Auburn didn’t look great last week, having a close call against Vanderbilt. However, Auburn’s defense is good enough to bounce back and shut Georgia down, en route to a victory.

The Pick: Auburn 34, Georgia 20

#24LSU (5-3) @ #25 Arkansas (6-3) – 7PM ET, ESPN

Spread: LSU -7

This is a tough game to pick for me, I really like both of these teams. Last week I picked Arkansas to upset Florida, and the Razorbacks came through for me, shocking the Gators 31-10. LSU also showed a lot of promise on the defensive side of the ball last week, holding #1 Alabama scoreless through 3 quarters, and while the Tigers ended up losing 10-0, it was the closest any team has been to beating Alabama. It’s on the road for LSU, and the Tigers are coming off of a physically tough game against Alabama, but Leonard Fournette is the best player on the field, and I think he bounces back from a down week, and leads LSU to a win

The Pick: LSU 30, Arkansas 23

#20USC (6-3) @ #4Washington (9-0) – 7:30PM ET, FOX

Spread: Washington -9

Last week the committee had Washington outside the top four and USC out of the top 25. This week they got it right. The Huskies are one of the four undefeated teams from the power conferences, and USC has looked like a completely different team since Sam Darnold took over at quarterback. The problem for USC is that Darnold, a freshman, is inexperienced on the road, just 1-1 so far this season, and with College Gameday in town, Husky Stadium will be rocking. I think the Washington defense forces Darnold to make mistakes, and the duo of Jake Browning and Myles Gaskin lead the Huskies to a blowout win.

The Pick: Washington 41, USC 24

#3Michigan (9-0) @ Iowa (5-4) – 8PM ET, ABC

Spread: Michigan -21

Michigan is unbeaten, and I feel in a way underrated, as they have three wins over the committees top-15, and those are by an average of 21 points each. This game is actually more important for Ohio State and Penn State, as a Michigan loss here would almost eliminate Ohio State from the Big Ten title race, and give Penn State a chance in the Big Ten title race. Iowa has not been great so far this year, and they got blown out last week by Penn State 41-14. Michigan is undefeated, and I think they will stay unbeaten here on the road against Iowa.

The Pick: Michigan 38, Iowa 14
