TALK OF THE TOWN 1/11: A BAD TRIP-AFTER A LOSS TO THE KNICKS, THE HEAT HAVE TO COME OUT OF NYC WITH A WIN OVER THE NETS!

Heat 27-9 at Nets 15-20

Let’s start, no score and Nets star Joe Johnson pulls up and drains a 3! 16-14 Nets now and Joe Johnson  swishes a corner 3 and the Nets are up 5! Then Johnson makes a fadeaway and the Nets are rolling! Then 32-30 and Joe Johnson shoots a 3…SPLASH! Johnson had 22 points, IN THE FIRST QUARTER! Then tied at 89, three, two, one Paul Pierce shooting from deep to win…NO! We are going to Overtime! Then, Heat down 2 but Norris Cole makes a jumper from the top of the key for the Heat and we are tied! Then Paul Pierce has to try to force a shot with like no time left it is way off and we have to go to double OT! 97-93 Nets now and Paul Pierce makes a 3 and the Nets go on to win 104-95!
