UVa lax player Casey Bocklet was named VaSID state player of the year. UVa coach Julie Myers was named Coach of The Year. UVa players Megan Dunleavy, Morgan Stephens, Courtney Swan,and of course, Casey Bocklet were all named to the 1st team all-state team.  Kim Kolari

Virginia rowing student Sarah Cowburn has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Scholar-Athlete of the Year, also Cowburn, Constanze Duell, Molly Frear, Susanne Grainger, Chandler Lally, Sarah McGovern and Catherine Multari have been honored on the All-ACC Academic Rowing Team.

Basketball

Virginia guard Joe Harris (Chelan, Wash.) has withdrawn from the 2013 USA Basketball Men’s World University Games Team training camp because of a stress reaction in his left foot. Harris will miss 3-6 weeks because of the injury.
