MESSI SCORES IN ARGENTINE OPENER VS BOSNIA AND HERZIGOVINA

Lionel Messi’s amazing run and finish secured a 2-1 victory for “La Albiceleste” and more importantly 1st place in Group F. The 26-year-old star’s goal came in the 65th minute after beating two Bosnia and Herzegovina defenders. Messi also got an assist after his PK bounced off Bosnia defender Sead Kolasinac’s shin and into the goal. B&H made a late comeback with a goal by VfB Stuttgart forward Vedad Ibisevic but couldn’t get an equaliser before the full time whistle.
