Iran kept the “Super Eagles” grounded on Monday in a boring 0-0 draw at Curitiba in the Group F matchup. Nigeria had the upper hand for most of the match and got a few good runs, the best of which was a Vincent Enyeama close-range header saved by Iranian Reza Ghoochanneijhad. Neither team could finish and they both had to settle for 1 point.
