Virginia finished 20th in the 2012-13 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup. This is the 7th consecutive year that the cavs have placed in the top 20 and the 20th consecutive year that the cavs have placed in the top 30.

Mark Amirault was also honored as a third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American on Thursday. In the all-academic side of it. Abbey Karin,Jordan Lavender, Catherine White, Barbara Strehler, Peyton Chaney, Anna Finger, and Vicky Fouhy were honored for women’s.. On the men’s side, Mark Amirault, Thomas Porte, Matthew Armentrout, Taylor Gilland, Christian Lavorgna, Drew Paisley and Ryan Satchell were honored for men’s.
