Men’s Golf
Virginia sophomore golfer Denny McCarthy has been named an honorable mention of the PING All-America Team. McCarthy also earned All-ACC and All-East Regional honors. McCarthy finished 22nd at the NCAA championships.
Men’s Tennis
The NCAA Champion Virginia men’s tennis has another honor… The the No. 1 recruiting class of 2013. J.C. Aragone (Yorba Linda, Calif.), Luca Corinteli (Alexandria, Va.), Jordan Daigle (Lafayette, La.) and Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (Charlotte, N.C.) are the recruits that the cavs picked up.
Track and Field
Virginia senior Abbey Karin competed at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday. Karin finished 10th in the women’s javelin competition. Karin threw 49.34m (161’10’) on her final throw of competition.
