LOOKING BACK AT THE RG3 TRADE

REDSKINS GOT

2012 draft:

Robert Griffin III, QB

RAMS GOT

2012 draft:
Michael Brockers, DT
Janoris Jenkins, CB
Isaiah Pead, RB
Rokevious Watkins, G

2013 draft:
Alec Ogletree, LB
Stedman Bailey, WR
Zac Stacy, RB

2014 draft:
Greg Robinson, OT

At first look this seems to be the worst trade in NFL history. But when we look back at it…YUP, still the worst trade in NFL history. JK, JK. I love what the Rams did with the picks acquired in the RG3 trade. However the Redskins get one of THE BEST young QB’s in the NFL. Many people may disagree but in my opinion RG3 had THE BEST rookies year of any QB that I’ve ever seen. So let’s go and GRADE THE PICKS!!!

REDSKINS GOT

2012 draft:

Robert Griffin III, QB A

RAMS GOT

2012 draft:
Michael Brockers, DT B
Janoris Jenkins, CB B+
Isaiah Pead, RB C-
Rokevious Watkins, G D

2013 draft:
Alec Ogletree, LB  B+
Stedman Bailey, WR B
Zac Stacy, RB A-

2014 draft:
Greg Robinson, OT ?

Okay, this trade actually lies on the shoulders of Sam Bradford and RG3. Whoever ends up being the better QB, his team wins this trade and at this point it’s hard to tell. The Rams have a .454 winning % since the trade but 0 playoff appearances, the Redskins have a .407 winning % with 1 playoff appearance.
