Nats shutout Twins

Nationals 29-31 vs Twins 27-31

Let’s start Top 2nd, 0-2 pitch to Roger Bernadina from Jordan Zimmermann…Strike 3! Then, Zimermann gets Aaron Hicks to strike out swinging. Top 3rd now Pedro Florimon goes down swinging to Zimmermann. Zimmermann had 8K’s. Bottom of the 4th still 0-0 but 2 on for the nats. Anthony Rendon hits the ball into the shortstop-3rd base gap and Florimon dives for the ball, gets it, throws it to first but the runner is safe and it drives in 2 runs. Bottom 5th now Nats up 5-0. Rendon up to bat again, 2 on for the nats and Rendon hits a line drive into right field for a 2RBI Double! That would make it 7-0, Nats win 7-0
