TALK OF THE TOWN AUG.21: PUIG LEADS DODGERS TO WIN

Dodgers at Marlins

On June 22nd, The Dodgers were 30-42, last place in the NL West, 12 games below .500 and 9 and a half games out of 1st place in the Nl West. When the Dodgers woke up yesterday they were 72-50, 1st in the NL West, 22 games above .500 and 8 and a half games ahead of the next team in the NL West standings. The Dodgers were facing the Marlins yesterday. Let’s start, Bottom 6th,  4-3 Dodgers and Jeff Mathis singles to left, that drives in a run and the Marlins have tied the game at 4. Then the Manager of the Dodgers puts Yasiel Puig in the game and in the top 8th he is gonna hit a bomb to left center, that puts the Dodgers up 5-4.
