TOP 9 COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES OF 2014-15 COUNTDOWN: PART 1/9

This is a series where I count down the Top 9 Games of the 2014-15 College Football Season! The games are based on three categories: Excitement, Unpredictability, and Importance. However, Excitement is more heavily weighed than the other two by a good margin so don’t expect to see Oregon vs Ohio State or Ohio State vs Alabama at Number 1 (Or on the list at all). So without further ado here is the Number 9 Best Game of 2014-15…  ARIZONA STATE VS USC!!!

You’d think after a 53 yard touchdown run with just over three minutes to play and a 9 point lead at home USC would have this game in the bag… right? As the announcer would say after the run it was “putting this on ice.” However, the Sun Devils would march down the field in about thirty seconds, kick the onside kick… which was recovered by USC… NOW it’s  over… right? Arizona State doesn’t even have a timeout. But the gritty Sun Devils wouldn’t go away, on the final play of the game backup quarterback Mike Bercovici heaved a 46 yard Hail Mary which was caught by  Jaelen Strong to win the game.
