TOP 9 COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES OF 2014-15 COUNTDOWN: PART 3/9

This is a series where I count down the Top 9 Games of the 2014-15 College Football Season! The games are based on three categories: Excitement, Unpredictability, and Importance. However, Excitement is more heavily weighed than the other two by a good margin so don’t expect to see Oregon vs Ohio State or Ohio State vs Alabama at Number 1 (Or on the list at all). So without further ado here is the Number 7 Best Game of 2014-15… GEORGIA TECH VS GEORGIA!!!
With just a few seconds left, ball on the 36, Georgia Tech kicker Harrison Butker had one chance to drain a 53 yard field goal to send it to overtime… and he drained it. In a game that included some of the most exciting moments in college football including a 99-yard fumble returned for a touchdown, not one but two blocked field goals, a fake field goal, and a onside kick it was only fitting the game would go to overtime. In the extra period Georgia Tech powered through for a two yard score but the Bulldogs fought back and on second and goal Georgia fired for the endzone… and was intercepted giving the Yellow Jackets their first win over their in-state rivals since 2008
