After 4 practice’s that included 26 of America’s top U19 players, USA Basketball announced that Virginia sophomore Mike Tobey(Monroe, N.Y.) is one of the finalists to compete for USA’s U19 World Championship squad. Only 12 will remain when the plane departs for Prague, Czeh Republic. The 4 that will be cut will be decided June 19-June 23 at the Washigton Wizzard’s training facility in DC. The 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship will be held June 27-July 7 in Prague, Czech Republic. Joining Tobey as USA U19 finalists are Ryan Arcidiacono (Villanova), Damyean Dotson (Oregon), Michael Frazier (Florida), Marcus Georges-Hunt (Georgia Tech), Aaron Gordon (Archbishop Mitty H.S.), Jerami Grant (Syracuse), Montrezl Harrell (Louisville), Jahlil Okafor (Whitney Young H.S.), Elfrid Payton (Louisiana at Lafayette), James Robinson (Pittsburgh), Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State), Jarnell Stokes (Tennessee), Rasheed Sulaimon (Duke), Nigel Williams-Goss (Findlay Prep) and Justise Winslow (St. Johns H.S.).
