WEEKEND PREDICTIONS

Well, I guess that’s what happens when you pick against your own team. Last week I went an incredible 0-5 good for by far my worst mark on the year, in fact I doubled my incorrects from the past 8 weeks in one week!. But I still lead ESPN 35-10 to 27-18, good for an 8 win lead heading into this week. Without further ado let’s get this thing started.

No. 4 Duke at No. 6 Louisville, noon ET, ESPN, Saturday:

Will Duke lose three-in-a-row for the first time since ’07? probably not.

The Pick: Duke 63, Louisville 59

No. 8 Utah at No. 10 Arizona, 7 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Network, Saturday:

This is Utah’s chance to take the Pac-12 banner away from Arizona, but the Wildcats will get it done at home.

The Pick: Arizona 68, Utah 63

No. 9 Kansas at No. 11 Iowa State, 9 p.m. ET, ESPN, Saturday:

Kansas has been the cream of the Big 12 crop for a while now, Iowa State wins with “Hilton Magic” giving them the Big 12 banner.

The Pick: Iowa State 64, Kansas 63

No. 16 West Virginia at No. 20 Texas, 6:15 p.m. ET, ESPN, Saturday:

Texas has been one of the biggest disappointments in the last 30 days, they fall to the Mountaineers at home by 8.

The Pick: West Virginia 71, Texas 63

Michigan State at No. 14 Maryland, 4 p.m. ET, CBS, Saturday:

These two have been duking it out for the No. 2 spot in the Big Ten for a while now and after Maryland won it from the Spartans on Jan. 30 the Spartans now get their rematch, a lot can change in college basketball but I think that Maryland remains in hold of the number two spot (for now)

The Pick: Maryland 68, Michigan State 64 (OT)
