#1 ‘CATS GET A WAKE UP CALL

For most people the main question surrounding Kentucky’s season wasn’t “when will they lose?” it was “Will they lose?, ever” Kentucky seemed like as dominant as a #1 as you could ask for, and then came Ole Miss. After being on the ropes all game, Kentucky forced overtime with their deadly press.  “We knew they were going to fight,” Aaron Harrison said after scoring 26 points in the game “The SEC is tougher than what people think and we knew they weren’t going to lay down. They came out and fought really hard. We had a game where we had to make big plays and we made them.” After a couple of key freethrows and Ole Miss not being able to get a good shot off Kentucky won 89-86 in an OT scare, and  emerged for the first time all year with some doubters. “We’re still learning and this is a wake-up call for them,” Kentucky coach John Calipari said. “Look, teams are coming after you. We didn’t play great, but you have to give it to Mississippi, they played.”
