Super Bowl Breakdown

1 QB’s

Ravens

PASSING ATT COMP YDS TD
Joe Flacco 531 317 3817 22
Tyrod Taylor 29 17 179 0

49ers

PASSING ATT COMP YDS TD
Colin Kaepernick 218 136 1814 10
Alex Smith 218 153 1737 13

Joe Flacco is going to have to have a big game if he wants to win this game. Kaepernick has only started 10 games ever which will be a huge factor and this is passing not rushing and I think Flacco is a better passer. He has more yards than Smith and Kaepernick.

Edge: RAVENS

Ravens

RUSHING ATT YDS AVG TD
Ray Rice 257 1143 4.4 9
Bernard Pierce 108 532 4.9 1

49ers

RUSHING ATT YDS AVG TD
Frank Gore 258 1214 4.7 8
Colin Kaepernick 63 415 6.6 5

Kaepernick is a huge threat rushing because he has that mobility.Frank Gore has 1,214 yards this year and Gore can get more easy runs now with Kaepernick because teams are so focused on the outside run with Kaepernick. On the flip side the Ravens Ray Rice has had 11 and a half hundred yards this season. but only had 48 yards in the win vs the pats a week and a half ago.

Edge:49ers

Ravens

RECEIVING REC YDS AVG TD
Anquan Boldin 65 921 14.2 4
Torrey Smith 49 855 17.4 8

49ers

RECEIVING REC YDS AVG TD
Michael Crabtree 85 1105 13.0 9
Vernon Davis 41 548 13.4 5

The top 2 Ravens receiving leaders have 1,776 yards and San Fran’s have 1,653 so it’s pretty even. the 49ers leader has twice as many as the 2nd place receiver in yardage so it is not exactly spread out.
