In the college baseball tournament there are 64 teams those 64 teams divide into 16 groups of 4. Those 16 regionals are hosted by the 16 “1” seeds those 1 seeds are the teams you are seeing above. the 16 groups of 4 play double-elimination tournaments. The 1st round pairings are announced tomorrow at noon on ESPNU. There are also 8 “national seeds” that are announced noon on ESPNU thoose 8 national seeds are hosts of the super regionals the super regionals are a best of 3 series played between 2 regional winners. It is hosted by the team that is one of the 8 national seeds. If the national seed was eliminated then it is hosted by the higher seeded team. (the ncaa releases a list of the 64 teams ranked 1-64 on ncaa.com) the winners of the super regionals are divided into 2 groups of 4. Those 2 groups of four are in double-eliminations (just like the regionals) This round is hosted in Omaha, NE. The winners of the 2 groups play in a best of 3 series (just like the super regional) these games are also played in Omaha, NE
