5 Stanford 5-0 at Utah 3-2
Let’s start, 1st quarter, 7-7, Utah kicking off and Stanford’s Ty Montgomery is going to catch it and return it all the past the defense for a Stanford TD and it’s 14-7 Stanford! Late 1st quarter and Utah ball, QB Travis Wilson finds Dres Anderson who makes an outstanding catch and that is a touchdown! We are tied at 14! 2nd quarter now and Utah ball, and Anderson gets a handoff and he takes it 3 yards around the defense for a touchdown and the Utes of Utah are up 21-14 on #5 Stanford! Could this be the upset we’ve been waiting for all year? 24-14 Utah and Stanford QB Kevin Hogan fumbles the football, Utah recovers and Utah would score a field goal so it’s 27-14! Stanford would answer back when Hogan would find Devon Cajuste for a touchdown and the lead is down to 6. Then a 4th and 2 for Stanford, Stanford needs a 1st down to stay alive and Kevin Hogan fires to the endzone and it’s overthrown, incomplete and Utah beats an AP Top 5 team for the 1st time since 2008! Utah QB Travis Wilson was 23/34, 234 yards, 2 TD’s and an interception.
2 Oregon 5-0 at 16 Washington 4-1
Let’s start no score and Oregon hands the ball off Bralon Addison who takes it around the U-W defense for a gain of 43! 7-0 Oregon now and Washington ball, QB Kieth Price finds Austin Seferian-Jenkins for a score so we are tied at 7! 21-7 Oregon now but Washington trying to get right back in this game and they do just that with a 60 yard TD run by Bishop Snakey and it’s 21-14 Oregon! But Oregon QB Marcus Mariota answers back when he goes deep and finds Josh Huff who makes a nice catch and takes it for the touchdown! Oregon up 28-14! 31-17 Oregon now and Washington’s Bishop Sankey running through the Duck’s defense for a score and the lead is down to 7! But Oregon would Answer, Mariota goes deep and finds Addison for a 30 yard gain, a few plays later Mariota finds Bralon Addison in the endzone for another Oregon TD! Oregon goes on to win 45-24! Marcus Mariota was 24/31, 366 yards, 3 TD, and 1 rushing TD.Washington runningback Bishop Sankey lost but had a great game with 28 carries for 167 yards and 2 TD’s.
12 Oklahoma 5-0 at Texas 3-2
Let’s start 3-3 and Oklahoma ball but QB Blake Bell is intercepted by Texas’ Chris Whaley, Whaley returns it all the way for a touchdown and it is 10-3 Texas! 23-13 Texas now, Oklahoma punting and Daje Johnson is going to return this punt through the defense and Johnson would score! The PAT was blocked so it is now 29-13! Then, Texas QB Case McCoy finds Mike Davis for a TD! texas goes on to win 36-20. McCoy was 13/21, 190 yards, 2 TD and an INT. Oklahoma QB Blake Bell was 12/26, 133 yards and 2 interceptions.
9 Texas A&M 4-1 at Ole Miss 3-2
14-10 Texas A&M and TA&M QB Johnny Manziel scrambles and runs it to the endzone and that’s a touchdown! T A&M is up 21-10! 31-31 now and Bo Wallace finds Jaylen Walton who takes it to the house and Ole Miss is up 7! But Johnny Manziel would come back and Manziel runs it in again and we are tied at 38! Texas A&M would kick a field goal to stay alive and Texas A&M wins 41-38! Johnny Manziel was 31/39, 346 yards, an interception, Manziel had 124 on the ground and 2 running touchdowns.
25 Missouri 5-0 at 7 Georgia 4-1
21-10 Mizzou and Georgia ball, QB Aaron Murray fumbles he ball, Mizzou’s Michael Sam picks up the ball and returns it all the way for a touchdown and Missouri is up 28-10! 28-20 Missouri and Aaron Murray is trying to redeem himself and he does when he fires over the middle and finds Chris Conley, Georgia’s 2-point conversion failed so it’s 28-26 Missouri. On the next Mizzou drive Missouri QB James Franklin seperated his shoulder so they will be without him for a while! Mizzou woukd just keep going as backup QB Maty Mauk tosses it too Bud Sasser who chucks it downfield and it is caught by L’Damian Washington and that’s a touchdown, but Missouri is only up 34-26 after a missed extra-point so all Georgia needs to win is a touchdown and a made 2 point conversion to tie the game!So Aaron Murray trying to lead his team down the field and…Murray throws an interception! Missouri wins 41-26! Aaron Murray was 25/45, 290 yards, 3 TD’s and 2 Interceptions.James Franklin is out for the season with that shoulder injury.
18 Michigan 5-0 at Penn State 3-2
Let’s start, 4th quarter, 27-24 Michigan and Michigan ball, QB Devin Gardner throws deep and finds Devin Funchess for a Michigan touchdown and it is 34-24 Michigan! 34-27 Michigan and there is 34 seconds left, Penn State needs a touchdown to send it to OT. And PSU QB Christian Hackenberg throws deep and finds Allen Robinson and that takes Penn State all the way to the 1 yard line! Hackenberg would run it in and we are going to overtime! Then in OT, Penn State didn’t score so Michigan taking a field goal to win the game and it’s blocked! We are going to double overtime! Triple overtime now, it is 37-37 and Penn State running the ball and the back just flat out drops it! Michigan recovers so they have another field goal to win the game and… the Kicker hooks it left so we are going to quadruple overtime! In 4 OT on 4th down for Penn State, they hand it off to Bill Belton… and he gets the first down, keeps the drive alive! Then Bill Belton runs it around the left side for a touchdown! And Penn State wins 43-40! Michigan QB Devin Gardner was 15/28, 240 yards, 3 TD’s, 2 interceptions and 121 yards running. Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg was 23/44, 305 yards, 3 TD’s, 2 INT’s and a running TD.
17 Florida 4-1 at 10 LSU 5-1
Let’s start, 7-3 LSU, LSU looking to add to that lead and they do just that when LSU RB Anthony Jennings barrels his way through the defense to score a touchdown and LSU is up 14-3, they go on to win 17-6! LSU is 28-1 in the last 29 home games! LSU QB Zach Mettenberger was 9/17, 152 Yds.
Boston College 3-2 at 3 Clemson 5-0
Let’s start 7-3 Boston College already and Clemson ball, QB Tajh Boyd fires deep and finds Sammy Watkins for a touchdown and Clemson is up 10-7! But BC would not go away, in the third quarter BC QB Chase Rettig fires deep and finds Alex Amidon for a 69 yard touchdown, BC is up 14-10! But in the 4th Clemson would retaliate with Boyd running it in for the score so Clemson is back on top! But BC on it’s last chance and Rettig is sacked by Tony Steward, Rettig fumbles, Clemson’s Vic Beasley recovers and takes it to the house, Clemson wins 24-14! Rettig was 13/21, 192 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Tajh Boyd was 30/44 with 334 yards and a running and throwing TD.
14 South Carolina 4-1 at Arkansas 3-3
Let’s start, 24-7 South Carolina, SCarolina ball and QB Connor Shaw throws deep to Damiere Byrd who makes a great catch for the Gamecocks, TOUCHDOWN! 31-7 SCAR. Later in the 3rd Shaw runs it through the defense for a touchdown and South Carolina goes on to win 52-7! By the way, South Carolina injured star Jadeveon Clowney played 27 of 37 playable snaps. Connor Shaw was 19/28, 219 yards, 3 Touchdowns and a running TD.
1 Alabama 5-0 at Kentucky 1-4
TJ Yeldon was running it through the defense all game and he did that when it was 10-0 ‘bama already, all he had to do is run it on the outside, easy six points! Bama goes on to win 48-7! Yeldon had 16 rushes for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. Alabama QB AJ McCarron was 21/35, 359 yards, and 1 touchdown.
15 Baylor 4-0 at Kansas State 2-3
Let’s start, 7-7, Baylor ball and Baylor QB Bryce Petty fires deep downfield, like deep, like 93 yards deep! And finds a wideopen Tevin Reese and Baylor is up 14-7. 14-10 Baylor now and Petty hits Antwan Goodley who stiff arms a defender and takes it to the house and it’s 21-10 Baylor! 21-19 Baylor now, but Kansas State would come back, they hand it off to Daniel Sams and Sams shoves his way into the endzone and Kansas State is up 25-21 after a missed two-point conversion. Can Upset Saturday claim another victim? Bryce Petty says no and he finds a wide open Tevin Reese who can walk into the endzone, Baylor goes on to win 35-25! Petty was 12/21, 332 yards, 3 passing and 1 running touchdown, this is Petty’s 5th straight 300+ yard game.
