Bracketology (2/27) – Does Nebraska Deserve a Bid?

  • The You Changes are from my 2/23 Bracketology
  • These are my “most deserving” teams based on resume, if you are looking for my current “best” teams, check out my top 25.
  • Since I spent a lot of time writing my conference tournament previews this week, I did not have time to make the actual bracket with matchups today. Check back later this week for an updated S-Curve as well as that, before we go into daily brackets for the final week.

Does Nebraska Deserve A Bid?

The Cornhuskers are by far the most controversial team I have in the field of 68, so let’s compare them to my first team out of the field, UCLA.

*All values via KenPom.com

 Nebraska UCLA
22-9 Record 19-10
64th SOS 65th
 52nd  KP Rank 57th
2-7 vs “A Level” 2-5
4-2  vs “B Level”  2-3

So yes, I would say the Cornhuskers deserve the bid.
