BUBBLE BATTLE: OK STATE AT BAYLOR

Oklahoma State 16-9 at Baylor 16-9

Let’s begin with Baylor’s Cory Jefferson slamming down a 2-handed dunk! The Ferrell Center was hyped! Then OK State drives to the rim but it’s blocked by the Bears! Later in the half. Baylor’s Isaiah Austin goes up for the shot, misses, gets his own rebound and puts it back off the glass…GOOD! Tied at 50, Austin throws down a dunk and the Bears take the lead. Then Cory Jefferson makes the jumper from the elbow and Baylor takes a 3-point lead! 2.9 seconds left, Baylor up 3, Bears passing it in but it’s stolen by State’s Leyton Hammonds and Hammonds for 3 to send it to OT… YES!!! But in OT,  Baylor up 2, less than a minute to go and Baylor’s Kenny Chery drives to the hoop fakes out a defender and scores to make it a 2-possession game, Baylor goes on to win 70-64!

Oklahoma State’s Markel Brown had 26 points and 6 assits and Baylor’s Cory Jefferson had 25 Pts, 13 Rebounds and 3 Blocks
