COLLEGE BASKETBALL WEEKDAY PICKS – 2/13-2/17

Monday 2/13

*Monday’s picks will not be updated for this week’s Top 25*

#4Louisville (20-5) @ Syracuse (16-10) – 7PM ET, ESPN

The Pick: Louisville

#6Baylor (22-3) @ Texas Tech (16-9) – 7PM ET, ESPNU

The Pick: Baylor

#13West Virginia (20-5) @ #3Kansas (22-3) – 9PM ET, ESPN

West Virginia sits two games back of Kansas in the Big 12 standings heading into a road match up against the Jayhawks. West Virginia beat the Jayhawks in Morgantown 85-69 on January 24th, but inside Allen Fieldhouse, it’s a whole different ballgame. For Kansas to avenge that loss, the Jayhawks will need to slow down West Virginia’s highpowered offense that is averaging 86 points per game. This will be a high scoring game, but Kansas will learn from their mistakes from last month’s matchup, and come out with a win.

#12Duke (20-5) @ #14Virginia (18-6) – 9PM ET, ESPN2

A top-15 matchup in the ACC highlights a great Sunday slate. Virginia comes off of a game against Virginia Tech that they should of won, but PG London Perrantes had a game winner GET STUCK ON THE RIM. Duke on the other hand, might be the hottest team in the ACC. The Blue Devils have won five straight, but this game will come down to who can control the tempo. Duke wants to play fast, while Virginia has the 2nd-slowest offense in the country. With the home crowd on their side I’m leaning Virginia, as Perrantes and company bounce back.

The Pick: Virginia
