SEC Q/A

Q: Why don’t you have Alabama in your projected SEC Title game?

A: I’m sold on Alabama, in my preseason rankings (which are coming out later tonight) I have Alabama rankedat #1 in the country. However, those are preseason rankings, my projected standings are predictive of what the standings will look like at the END of the season. Alabama faces Arkansas (#29),Ole Miss (#11), LSU (#7), and Tennessee (#6) all on the road, I don’t think Alabama wins all of those 4 games, therefore, at the end of the season they won’t be #1.

Q: Who’s seat is hotter? Texas A&M or Auburn?

A: Gus Malzahn (Aubrun) and Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M) both are facing tough tests throughout the season, and a poor showing very well could result in the loss of their jobs. As for who’s seat is hotter? I would have to say Kevin Sumlin, although being right next to Alabama does put a lot of pressure on Auburn to do well.

Q: How do you sort out the bottom of the SEC East?

A: Tennessee is probably going to win the SEC East, and Georgia and Florida will probably finish 2 and 3, and I think Missouri is a pretty clear number four. but after those three there’s Kentucky (#63), Vanderbilt (#64), South Carolina (#65) those three teams literally couldn’t be closer.
