6 Georgia at 24 South Carolina
Highlights:
- 2nd quarter, on a 2nd and 10 from the Georgia 18 Dylan Thompson completes the pass over the middle to Rory Anderson for a Gamecock touchdown!
- 24-13 South Carolina now and Todd Gurley punches it in from the 2 to cut the lead to 4
- Then late 3rd quarter on a 3RD AND 16! They give it to the Heisman hopeful and Gurley takes it to the left, cuts back and picks up the first down
- 38-35 Gamecocks now and Dylan Thompson, over the middle AND IT’S PICKED OFF BY DAMIAN SWANN and returned all the way to the Gamecock 4
- Marshall Morgan, who had made 18 consecutive field goals missed a chip shot for Georgia
- South Carolina went for it on 4th and inches and got it they than ran the clock out
- FINAL SCORE: South Carolina 38, Georgia 35
9 USC at Boston College
Highlights:
- 17-13 USC and on a crazy reverse play Sherman Alston took it 54 yards to the house for the Eagles to give BC a 20-17 lead
- 3rd quarter and the Eagles give to Tyler Murphy who transferred from FSU and he takes around the corner, 21 yards, first down!
- 4 plays later Jon Hillman would punch it in from the 1.
- 4th quarter, USC trying to make a comeback and Cody Kessler is sacked by Josh Keyes
- Later in the 4th on 2nd and 8 and Kessler finds Nelson Agholor wide open for the USC score
- But Tyler Murphy came up big and called his own number and took it down the sideline, 66 yards for a score to seal the upset win!
- FINAL SCORE: Boston College 37, USC 31
Kentucky at Florida
Highlights:
- Austin MacGinnis sends it to overtime with a 51 yard field goal to tie it at 20
- In OT: Stanley Williams takes a screen pass all the way to the right side, cuts it back to the left sideline and takes it in for the score!
- 4th and 7 for Florida and the Gatorsstay alive when Jeff Driskel finds DeMarcus Robinson
- 3rd overtime, MacGinnis misses a 42 yarder
- Matt Jones wins the game for the Gators as Jones punched it in from the 2
- FINAL SCORE: Florida, 36, Kentucky 29, 3 OT
