DESEAN JACKSON SIGNS WITH REDSKINS-WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

3 year, 24 M (16 M guaranteed)

I think this changes the Redskins from an average team to a playoff team, Teams always doubleteamed Pierre Garcon, Garcon still got 1,346 yards last year. DeSean’s pretty similar,he always got double-teamed and got 1,332 yards. Now teams can only double one of them, so imagine what those numbers would be like in single coverage. Pierre could get 1800 yards next year and DeSean still get 1300. This is why getting a elite receiving duo is so important, you either leave an elite player 1-on-1 or you can double them both but leave the running lane less guarded. And then you get destroyed by Alfred Morris. Here is how I think the NFC East will stack up this year, note that this is subject to change based on new signings, trades or draftees.

1. Redskins 10-6
2. Eagles 10-6
3. Cowboys 6-10
4. Giants 4-12
