DUTCH TAKE BRONZE AT WORLD CUP

Brazil was booed off the field in Brasilia after another embarrassing defeat. Robin van Persie, Daley Blind and Georginio Wijnaldum scored for the Netherlands as the Dutch took Bronze while handing the host country a three-nil defeat. The Green and Gold were doomed from the start as van Persie’s PK found the back of the net in the third minute. David Luiz’s defence was dreadful he headed it right to Blind who slid it past Julio Cesar for a goal. Georginio Wijnaldum added the third and final goal for Holland when he booted in Darryl Janmaat’s cross in stoppage time the boos grew louder and Brazil hung their heads as they walked off the field, too embarrassed to be looked at.
