GRIZZLIES EDGE SUNS TO LOCK UP FINAL PLAYOFF SPOT

The Suns vs the Grizzlies for the final playoff spot was supposed to by a dandy…and it was.

“It’s stressful, being in a game that both teams are going back and forth,” Grizzlie star Mike Conley said “Every time we made a play, they made a play. Give them credit, they played their hearts out. We were just able to make enough plays down the stretch.”There were 15 lead changes in the 4th quarter alone…FIFTEEN! With 1 minute to play the Suns were up 91-90 when Mike Conley hit a 3 for the Grizzlies. After the Suns turned the ball over  Randolph hit a quick 2 for Memphis and the Grizzlies were up 95-91 with 47.4 seconds to play and the Grizzlies went on to win 97-91.

So the Suns won’t make the playoffs, a shame really because they’ve had such an amazing year so let’s give a warm round of applause to the Phoenix. On the other hand… Do the Grizzlies have chance to knock off the Spurs/Thunder? VOTE NOW: http://poll.pollcode.com/34826523
