Teams unanimously voted that a certified medical trainer could call a “medical timeout” if a player on the field seems disoriented. Neither team is actually charged with a timeout and the opposing team would have an opportunity to substitute for a better matchup once the player comes off the field
A rule change was allowed that can allow a review to add more time on the clock at the end of the half, the game, or overtime. All other replay proposals were shot down or withdrawn
The owners also decided to research the possibility of fixed cameras positioned on the sidelines, end lines and goal lines to guarantee coverage of the play no matter where broadcast cameras are stationed.
