O’S TOP SOX

The Red Sox made a furious comeback to the O’s yesterday on the 1-year anniversary of the Boston Bombing and they almost completed it. “Our guys battled and fought and did a good job of making a game of it and it came down to the last pitch,” David Ross said. “We did a good job of representing Red Sox baseball today. We just want to win, obviously, for the fans and the whole situation.”  The Sox were down 6-0 at one point. But after a 3 run 5th inning and a homerun by David Ross cut the lead to 2. But a Ryan Flaherty RBI single to 2nd gave the O’s a comfortable 3 run lead and the O’s would go on to win 7-6.
