PETERSON DEACTIVATED, DAVIS SUSPENDED

Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. The team deactivated him for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Peterson admitted he  “involves using a switch to spank his son.” but says tat it was not his intention to hurt him and that that is what his father did to him when he was a child, Peterson’s 2-year old son was murdered last year.

Baltimore Orioles star Chris Davis has been suspended 25 games without pay after testing positive for amphetamines that does include the playoffs “I apologize to my teammates, coaches, the Orioles organization and especially the fans,” he said. “I made a mistake by taking Adderall. I had permission to use it in the past, but do not have a therapeutic use exemption this year. I accept my punishment and will begin serving my suspension immediately.”
