TALK OF THE TOWN AUGUST 9TH: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!? (BENGALS-FALCONS[PRESEASON])

It’s here! (finally) FOOTBALL! Preseason Football is here! If you’re new to my website this is my specialty so I hope you all enjoy, but without further ado Let’s get to football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s start 13 minutes and change left in the 1st quarter, 2nd and 10 and Matt Ryan takes the snap, drops back and fires to Harry Douglas who will catch it and take it 42 yards to the Cincinnati 24 for a Falcons 1st down! 3-zip Atlanta now, 4 minutes left in the 4th and Matt Ryan guns it downfield to  Drew Davis, 31 yard gain and another Falcons first down! Let’s go back to the 1st quarter, 14 minutes left, 0-0 and James Harrison making his Bengals debut after years with the Steelers and he goes in and stuffs Falcons running back Steven Jackson for no gain! He just went in there and destroyed Jackson. 1st quarter, 3-0 Falcons and Bengals QB Andy Dalton makes a nice pass to  Jermaine Gresham for a first down, Later in the first Dalton throws quickly to Bengals draft pick Tyler Eifiert for a nice gain. 4th quarter, 34-10 Bengals, 5:07 left, Bengals ball and Daniel Herron rushes for a 4 yard gain but what’s important is who tackled him, Brian Banks who was sent to prison for over 5 years for something he didn’t do. He says it was a dream come true to play preseason football.

Note: For those of you who don’t know most teams take their best players (starters) out after 10-15 minutes so they don’t get hurt. Now why wouldn’t you play your best player? because the preseason doesn’t matter at all, it just is a practice game pretty much except nationally televised.
