If you lose 2 games you are out. The team that doesn’t lose 2 games advances to the CWS Final vs Mississippi St. the records reset and then the 2 teams play a best of 3 series to determine a champion.

UCLA bats in bottom of inning, North Carolina bats in top half.

Let’s start 0-0, bottom 2nd, runners at the corners and Cody Regis’ grounder gets past the infield for an RBI base hit, that makes it 1-0 UCLA. Bottom 6th, same score, runners at the corners and KEvin Williams grounders up the middle for an RBI single, 2-0 UCLA. Bottom 7th, 2 on, same score and Pat Valaika doubles down the left field line for 2 RBI and that makes it 4-0 UCLA. Top 9th, 4-1  UCLA, 2 outs, bases loaded and Landon Lassiter, UNC’s last hope…pops out! North Carolina eliminated, and UCLA is going to the CWS Final
