Tennis Titles

Singles

Jarmere Jenkins of UVA  advanced to the Singles final yesterday with a 7-6, 7-6 semifinal victory over Sebastian Fanselow of Pepperdine. He will face Blaz Rola of Ohio State who advanced with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Japie De Klerk of Tulsa.

Doubles

Jamere Jenkins and Mac Styslinger of UVA advanced to the doubles final with a 7-5, 6-3 beating of Henrique Cunha and Raphael Hemmeler of Duke. They will face Chris Camillone and David Holiner of Texas in the final who advanced with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 win over Nik Scholtz and Jonas Lutjen of Ole Miss.

VIRGINIA SELECTED AS REGIONAL HOST

The four-team double-elimination tournament will go from May 31 to June 3 at Virginia’s beautiful Davenport Field. Two games will be played Friday (May 31), Saturday (June 1) and Sunday (June 2). If necessary, 1 game will be played on Monday (June 3). The game times will be announced on Monday (noon on ESPNU). You can purchase tickets at www.virginiasports.com
